Welcome to the Coastour sustainability monitoring assessment tool.

The COASTOUR project (Co-funded by the European Union) focuses on the sustainable and flexible transformation of rural and coastal tourism. The project aims to provide simple and effective model of indicators for monitoring sustainability and an open access tool for sustainability self-assessment of tourism companies.

The self-assessment tool collects 1) basic information about the organization (aligned with GDPR guidelines and high ethical standards in social sciences research), 2) information about the sustainable initiative/practices implemented and 3) information about the sustainable footprint of your organization. Information collected allows you to monitor your sustainability progress over time and to benchmark your organization at the industry level (e.g. NACE code) and national (e.g. same type companies across the country) and EU level (e.g. same type companies using COASTOUR sustainability self-assessment tool).

The tool is suitable for self-assessment or assessment under the guidance of your Coastour sustainability advisor.

You can access the self-assessment tool multiple times. So, no need to finish all sections in a single visit. To re-enter the tool simply enter you email and password (as chosen during first visit) and you will be able to continue where you left off. See user manual for more details!

Thank you very much for supporting the sustainability transition of the tourism/HORECA sector and expressing the interest in self-evaluation of sustainability progress made.
